I am thankful for the village. My village is full of caring people who are each talented in their own way. They give vet care to, foster, cook for, sew for, bathe & groom, transport, do home visits, train difficult dogs, work booths, participate in rehabilitation of sick/injured dogs, process paperwork, Pulling dogs from shelters, interview adopters, organize and lead volunteers, donate time, money and supplies. Some send prayers, well wishes and are supportive in non tangible ways. Other villagers open their hearts and their homes to one or more of these creatures by adopting them.
It takes a village and all of it's caring villagers to help these animals. The animals keep coming and the work never ends. I am thankful to know and proud to be a part of this village.
